We know how hard it can be to juggle work and family life. That’s why we’ve created our extended care program to help families and students take advantage of high-quality programs outside of school hours that further enhance classroom academic teaching and interpersonal skills. Besides Dance Makers’ after-school dance classes, children have a chance to take part in a variety of math- & science-based learning activities. We designed these to instill a lifelong love of learning and incorporate character-building and interpersonal skills.

What Is My S.M.A.R.T.S. Kid?
My S.M.A.R.T.S. Kid is a program that’s federally funded and specifically designed for children. The My S.M.A.R.T.S. Kid program is built on the foundation of providing children a safe and welcoming space where they can find academic support like tutoring to encourage a lifelong love of learning and academic success. My S.M.A.R.T.S. Kid program also provides recreational and enrichment opportunities including dance, art, and other cultural events and activities designed to encourage social and character-building skills with hands-on learning.
Academics and Homework Assistance
Our focus has always been in helping children succeed and grow. We assist children in completing homework assignments, catching up on missed assignments, and more. Personalized instructions are created and implemented to further reinforce classroom teachings and clarify core concepts. Academic assistance is provided based on the individual student’s needs in math, science, and reading.
The My S.M.A.R.T.S. Kid program also teaches valuable social development skills for a well-rounded student. This academic and recreational enrichment program focuses on your child’s well-being as a whole. Our aim is to inspire and educate children with educational, physical, and psychological fundamentals that will last long beyond the classroom years.
Enrichment Activities
My S.M.A.R.T.S. Kid program includes a wide variety of enrichment activities designed to support your child’s learning and development skills. Reading, math, and science skills are enriched with activities designed to tap into their love of exploration and learning. From staging a theatrical production to hands-on learning and other cultural activities, children receive ongoing support to enhance and enrich educational and character-building skills.
