One studio owner vowed to change this perception by creating an educational dance setting where she could help students to understand they could surpass the “expectations” of the world and provide exceptional technical training where their skills would better advance them in their individual careers.

Recently interviewed by the Rapfest, Robin Pitts shares how she has been breaking barriers in the dance industry at her DanceMakers studio in Lanham, MD. Robin wants to ensure that each child who dreams of becoming a dancer has the opportunity to take dance classes, her studio even offers scholarships to young dancers who cannot afford dance lessons. Click HERE to read the whole article!
